Our Place In History

Course Information

Oral History Project

Starting in the spring of 2007, the teachers in the course will begin working on oral history projects.  For these projects, teachers will use digital voice recorders to conduct two interviews with someone in their community.  They will use these interviews throughout the first year to explore the relationship between individuals in their world and broader themes of American democracy.
